RheumMD.org is a question and answer website that matches specific rheumatology questions with the expert doctor or doctors who are best suited to answer the question. In addition to providing free information, the site encourages visitors with arthritis and other rheumatic diseases to join an ongoing arthritis research project, the National Data Bank for Rheumatic Diseases.

Home Page

Site visitors, usually rheumatology patients, can search the site for information to answer their questions about rheumatologic conditions. If a patient does not find the question or answer he needs, he can ask his own question. The site will then notify a moderator who matches the new question's topic with an expert doctor on that topic and notify that doctor directly from the site. When an answer is received, the patient is notified by email that the question has been answered.

Additional features include blogging by doctors, commenting by patients and doctors, and RSS feeds for every Question and blog.
